Various Churches in the Austin area were called together to form a Coalition of Churches focused on criminal justice. From this desire to assist those most impacted by the criminal justice system, Christian Churches Collaborating for Change(4C’s), Inc. was established in 2011 at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Tx.
Christian Churches Collaborating for Change, Inc.( known as 4Cs), is composed of 10 member churches from the Austin area. We collaborate, first with God to effectively Minister and Serve those.

Educating Church Congregants on ways to better serve those people impacted by the Criminal Justice System is vital. 4Cs has Trained other Churches on ways they can effectively get involved.
Using a multi-tiered approach we seek to engage those affected by the Criminal Justice System and share and teach” Everlasting” lessons, knowledge, and a Christian foundation in order to help people make better decisions.
To build relationships, educate and extend assistance to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals (and their family) – regardless of religious beliefs, gender, race or ethnic background, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that transforms lives and communities – For the Glory of God.

The mission of Christian Churches Collaborating for Change is:
To meet the needs of those directly impacted by the Criminal Justice System – through consistent collaboration with Christian Churches – providing leadership in prevention initiatives, incarceration ministries, and aftercare resources.
We will Educate, Inform and Engage Church Congregants in these ways of Ministry and Service.
